Sugar Coated Almonds

Vanilla for the water add 1 2 cup of brown sugar to dry ingredients increase the cinnamon to 1tsp. Put all ingredients except for the almonds into a bowl and microwave at 600 watt for 2 minutes.
Bring to a boil. As the sugar melts from the heat it will create a sugar coating on the almond slices. Used 1 2 cup of splenda for the white sugar ingredient because i have to watch my sugar intake. Allow to cool about 15 minutes.
Pour the almonds onto a baking sheet lined with waxed paper. Then remove from heat and allow to cool.
