How to remove a door knob without screws or a latch.

Take off door handle no screws. Depending on the door handle design the faceplate may be able to slide completely off. Locate the hole underneath the doorknob shaft. Remove door knob without screws. Take your flat philips screwdriver and place it in the gap.

Slide the cosmetic faceplate away from the door. The door handle will now slide off. Apply a bit of pressure to the paper clip to trigger a release button inside the hardware. After you ve unscrewed or loosened the latch tug on the door knob until it pops out of place or disengages from the base also known as the rose.

Some styles of door knob will have another thin slot that requires a small screwdriver to free the cover from the door. With some pressure you can move the clip inside. You should see a tiny slot or hole. If not rotate the faceplate until the underlying screws are accessible and use a phillips head screwdriver to remove them.

Straighten a paper clip and insert it into the hole. Once triggered the lever or lock trim can be removed from the door. Look for the tiny gap on the side of the door knob. If any screws are exposed during this process remove them to release the lock and remove it from the door.
